Victoria's Secret's Show 2012 featured nostalgic romance
The famous lingerie brand's annual fashion show kicked off in New York last night and featured "nostalgic romance," and "epic references to pop culture."
The collection designer, Thomas Todd said the full show included 65 different costumes and 28 pairs of Angel wings:
"This year's show opened with a spectacular theme that set the tone for the entire show. There was nostalgic romance, historical fashion and epic references to pop culture."
The had a circus themed opener and featured super-beauties like Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne, Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio, wearing this year’s Fantasy Bra.
Model Hilary Rhoda made her debut as a Victoria's Secret Angel.
Posting a picture of herself in training, she tweeted: "#VSFashionShow training. You get out what you put in!(sic)"
Another special costume for the show has been created in tribute to the 10 year anniversary of Swarovski's collaboration with Victoria's Secret.
Following the opening of the show, segments included a floral spectacular called 'Angels In Bloom', and a section called Dangerous Liaisons, during which Rihanna performed.
