Rita Ora is new face of Madonna's Material Girl
Rita Ora has signed a £500,000 deal to become the face of pop sensation Madonna's clothing line Material Girl, after being recommended by Madonna's daughter Lourdes.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lourdes has been a fan of Rita for a while and has been to many of her gigs. She persuaded her mum to see her.
"They met at the Met Ball in New York last week and Madonna admired Rita's attitude so signed the idea off."
Rita, 22, was reportedly thrilled to be offered the opportunity and is hoping it will help get her music more exposure in the US.
The source added: "Rita jumped at the chance because she's such a fan of the Queen Of Pop. She also hopes it will help her crack the States in the same way she has the UK."
The singer follows in the footsteps of former famous faces of the brand actress Taylor Momsen, Kelly Osbourne and Georgia May Jagger.
