Rihanna taking Chris on bonding holiday to Barbados

Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown is getting serious as she is taking him to her native Barbados over New Year. The superstar singer is keen to show her friends and family how much has Chris changed and has booked them into a five-star villa on the island for a "bonding holiday".

Rihanna has also planned for Chris' mother to fly out so the two sets of families can spend time together.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The more the public criticise Rihanna for getting back with Chris, the more determined she is to do whatever she wants. While no one else can understand it, she's convinced that Chris is the love of her life and her soulmate and that they're simply meant to be together.

Chris, 23 was convicted of assaulting 24-year-old Rihanna in 2009, the night before the Grammy Awards, and was ordered to do 1,400 hours of community service and complete a domestic violence programme.

Despite people being worried for her safety, the 'We Found Love' singer is convinced she has done the right thing in taking him back.

The source added: "They're unrepentant and they want to show the whole world that they've moved on from what happened in 2009."
