Katie Holmes joins Project Runway All Stars as a guest judge

The actress-turned-designer, Katie Holmes will be joining the judge panel on a popular American reality show 'Project Runway All Stars'.

Other guest star judges to appear on this spin-off series based on 'Project Runway' that sees contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes will be: Kylie Minogue, Stacy Keibler, Liv Tyler and Gretchen Mol.

According to Lifetime, designer judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman of Marchesa fashion label will return, as will mentor Joanna Coles, while Carolyn Murphy will make her debut hosting the programme when the second season premieres on October 25th.

Katie Holmes and her long-term stylist friend, Jeanne Yang debuted their first ‘Holmes & Yang’ designs at a presentation rather than a catwalk show at New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

She said: "It's an honour to present here. It felt like a very natural step because it's not a whole big fashion show, it's a presentation.

She continued: "It reflects the way that we design and the way we've always run our business, which is very quietly and relaxed. So we felt that this was a natural step to have more of an audience and show more buyers."
