Joanna Lumley auctioning her wardrobe for charity
British national acting treasure, Joanna Lumley is auctioning off 50 pieces of clothing from her personal wardrobe and various acting roles, including pieces from her 'Absolutely Fabulous' wardrobe.
Joanna’s character ‘Patsy Stone’ in the popular comedy series ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ was known for her extravagant style and designer labels - which includes both neon and leopard print - and many of her outrageous outfits will be up for grabs with the funds to benefit The Prince's Trust.
Joanna said: "I am giving up some of my greatest treasures and happiest memories.
"I am so thrilled to think that the proceeds will all go to benefit young people through one of my all-time favourite charities - The Prince's Trust. I love each item and each garment with a passion."
Amongst the 50 pieces up for grabs are also costumes from Joanna's role in 'The Avengers' and her character ‘Marie Jouvet’ in 'The Trail of the Pink Panther'.
Other garments on offer are from Joanna’s personal wardrobe, making appearance on various red carpets events and include designer pieces from Chanel, Pucci and Moschino amongst others.
The sale will be held on November 13 at Kerry Taylor Auctions in London, with all proceeds going towards The Prince's Trust's UK-wide programmes, supporting young people to move into work, education or training.
