Paris Fashion Week came to a close with its unconventional favourite, Jean Paul Gaultier.
The French designer took us back through time at his spring/summer 2013 collection with 1980s-style show complete with models dressed as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Grace Jones and Boy George.
Supermodels like Karlie Kloss channeled Boy George and Jourdan Dunn strutted her stuff on the runway as Sade, while a Madonna wannabe donned a sexy leather dominatrix cage-dress.
Gaultier’s fashion spectacle also included David Bowie look-alike model wearing a vibrant jumpsuit decorated with stars and another model posed as Grace Jones, with a cigarette in her mouth.
Other brands that showcased their latest creations for sprins/summer 2013 included Hermes with their "graphic and modernist" approach where Christophe Lemaire introduced a mix of busy graphic prints complemented with neat tailored lines.
Speaking backstage after the show, he told Vogue.co.uk: "I wanted it to be graphic and modernist, masculine and feminine but I also wanted to explore and express the richness of Hermes."
US rapper Kanye West was amongst the front row guests at Phoebe Philo's latest modern and feminine Celine collection.
Paris Fashion Week will particularly be remembered for Hedi Slimane's first unveiling for Yves Saint Laurent, after he renamed the label's ready-to-wear line Saint Laurent, and Raf Simons' raving Dior debut.
