Why it’s hot?
What’s not to love about this gorgeously auburn hair on American actress Alyson Hannigan. This red hue practically blinds you with shine and grabs all the attention on the red carpet in an instant. Better yet, it upstages the red carpet.
Who suits it?
Women with pinkish or cooler skin tones suit it best. If you have olive or golden skin you might need to opt or search for another shade of red.
How to look after it?
Red hair dyes fade the fastest, due to larger size of its artificial particles than in other hair dyes. Keep the flame alive with the advice from the professionals:
1. Avoid washing it too often in a week. Alternate with a dry shampoo.
2. Use only colour protecting shampoo and avoid harsh, dandruff shampoos. They accelerate the fading process by weeks.
3. Rinse in tepid or cooler water after shampoo to maintain the shine.
4. Protect the red hair outdoors from oxidizing faster with the styling products with UV filter.
Top tips:
Don’t match your eyebrows with your red hair. It looks bizarre.
Do try out different make-up looks and outfits to compliment your new red hue.
