It’s all about the textured hair so use a dry shampoo, hair powder or texture spray to keep this look dishevelled and relaxed. You can upgrade to a fishtail plait but loosen up its sections after, for that carefree effect. The braid will do its magic during the day and prep the hair for a swift evening makeover.

If you happen to have a fringe like Bella, change the look by pinning the fringe to the side with a stylish hairclip. Swap your middle parting to a side parting but not too perfect. Work with your fingers rather than hairbrush and keep the hair textured. Free your hair from the plait and run your fingers through the loose waves that the braid has created. Add texture cream and scrunch the hair from the bottom if needed.
Top Tip
Two words: Dry shampoo. It’s your hair’s best friend. You can create va-va-volume that holds, even with fine hair, as the dry shampoo gives your hair a grip.
