Drew Barrymores make-up line for Walmart
The US actress Drew Barrymore is said to be launching her own makeup line exclusive to Wal-Mart next year after her contract with a make-up brand ‘Cover Girl’ ends. Drew has been a face of Cover Girl brand since 2007 but according to website WWD the star has decided it's time to create her own line.
Drew, 37, is said to be waiting until her contract with the brand finishes to release the beauty products and she has teamed up with Italian-based supplier of cosmetics, make-up and skin care Intercos.
It would be the actress' first time branching into the beauty market and it is believed the project will also be the first full make-up brand to be developed from scratch exclusively for Wal-Mart.
A spokeswoman from Procter & Gamble said: "Drew continues to be a Cover Girl. As a rule, we don't discuss the details of our contracts with our celebrities and ambassadors."
Drew has taken on a role of a co-director for Cover Girl’s television campaign in a past and she also worked for Lancome with makeup artist Gucci Westman.
